Political Situation | Trump Wins

The 2016 Presidential Election has been one hell of a fucking ride.

It's crazy to think how only over a year ago Donald Trump began his presidential campaign. Before it was official, America took this as a complete and total joke. We heard them all, "a Television Personality, a Business Man," these titles were very upfront, nothing crazy, just a little out of the ordinary; you know, not someone you would expect to run for president of the United States.

Things quickly began to boil the day he announced his candidacy. The whole deal with the "Great Wall" got people onto his shit like ants on melted candy. I give the guy props, he hit America right where it hurts. He began to mention his plans to change the way the country was being run and how he would make it happen. Some of the shit he talked about made sense, some of it was the straight up truth. And sometimes, the truth can be scary as fuck. But hey, personally, I rather fix a situation than letting it slide. (Before you trip out about me being a supporter, CHILL, I'm not big on politics, I just like to document and speak my opinion about real world events. That's it. We're all friends here). As the media dug deep into his career. We started seeing people speak up about his way of being, making the dude seem like a complete piece of shit. He, himself, didn't make it any better. The media didn't help ease the situation either. All this attention only made Trump stronger. Most of America began to face the facts, this was about to become a reality.

Election day came around; I was walking around Manhattan that night, headed to Times Square. It honestly started feeling like something out of a movie. Both candidates were projected up on the Empire State Building. No lie, I got a little crept out, this shit was looking like the beginning of a damn purge. Picture this, walking in the city, you pause to look up at one of the city’s most beautiful buildings and see Clinton's face on the left and Trump's on the right, with numbers showing who's winning the election. No mames.

When I got to Times Square I saw people from both parties in all types of moods. People were crying, excited, drunk, frighten, high, angry, hopeless, you name it, it was all there.

We all know how this election ended. Wasn't pleasing to most of America, but just like any other situation, we didn't sit back and watch shit tear down. America is standing up for itself. Protest are ongoing all over the country, this is truly eye opening. A living proof that anything is possible. I truly hope we each find peace very soon. As I like to say "shit can always be worse."

If you're feeling a little lost in this, my advice to you is: Stay true to yourself & never stop chasing your dreams. Because at the end of the day, regardless of your nationality, we are all humans and not a single person will change the lives we dream to live.

Much love and big hugs sent to everyone. #UnitedAsOne
